Job Role We are looking for an experienced and manager with warehouse operations and logistics experience. Experienced in supporting projects. Lead delivery of warehouse enhancement projects, over-labelling, implementation and delivery of bonded warehouse. Implement go live with pharmaceutical re-labelling process. Lead operational input and support delivery for new business IT solution. Support wider group projects within packaging, shipping and logistics. Key Outcomes and Responsibilities Act as lead for discovery and implementation of new IT system. This role would be the SME for operational process flow and work closely with wider project team to ensure smooth transition between ERP systems. Manage the introduction of a UK customs warehouse facility, ensure correct process is in place and is embedded to ensure high level of compliance is in place and and teams understand their responsibilities. Lead the operational activity for a new over labelling project. Support UTA and building warehouse process flows. Working across teams to ensure seamless project delivery and implementation. Train and brief all teams and ensure correct componentry, software/hardware is in place to meet customer and compliance needs. Lead, train, and motivate operatives, team leaders, and other staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all re-labelling activities comply with GMP, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements. For all projects and continuous improvement ensure SOPs/WI/Forms are in place and periodically review them to ensure compliance. Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing operational and production processes. Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular risk assessments, and maintaining a strong safety culture within the team. Oversee the management of materials, labels, and packaging to ensure that inventory levels are sufficient, and costs are controlled. Proactively identify and address production challenges, such as equipment issues, quality deviations, or delays, ensuring quick resolution to avoid disruption. To support and re-present production department during client and regulatory inspections. Support the generation of regular reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), including efficiency, productivity, and quality metrics. Present findings to senior management and suggest improvements. Stay up to date with changes in pharmaceutical regulations, ensuring the production process adheres to all local, national, and international standards. GDP and GMP. Collaborate with other departments, including Quality Assurance, Logistics and Commercial, to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company objectives. Supporting the Global Operations Teams with business objectives and driving improvement and efficiency strategies.
