Are you prepared to play a key role in keeping our Production team running smoothly?
As a Production Picker, you will be responsible for assisting Production Operatives by ensuring they have all components needed, picked and prepared accurately and on time.
Additionally, you’ll support our production process by organising stock, managing picklists, and maintaining a well-stocked, efficient workspace.
This dynamic role offers you the chance to engage in varied tasks that are critical to our operations' success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and pick components for production, ensuring items are ready and accessible for operatives.
2. Cut wires, sleeving, and other materials in accordance with current Bills of Materials (BOMs) and specific instructions.
3. Utilise and program provided machinery as required for efficient preparation.
4. Perform regular calibration of machinery and tools to maintain production quality.
5. Collaborate closely with production operatives and work independently as needed.
6. Conduct stock checks, follow picklists accurately, and identify stock locations within the warehouse.
7. Minimise product waste and handle materials efficiently to support production targets.
8. Maintain clean, organised, and safe work areas daily, adhering to company procedures.
9. Follow The Vehicle Group’s Health and Safety Policy rigorously.
10. Support personal development efforts to enhance performance in the role.

Qualifications or Relevant Experience:
1. No prior experience necessary, though experience in production or manufacturing is advantageous.
2. Familiarity with picklists and BOMs is beneficial.
