Job Title: Account Manager (Energy Consultancy)
Location: Fully Remote with meet ups in London or Manchester
Salary: £45k - £50k
Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00 (1 hour lunch)
Holidays: 20 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays)
About the Role
We (a specialist recruitment agency) are currently representing a rapidly expanding energy consultancy seeking an Account Manager to join their growing team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting corporate, multi-site clients across the UK, ensuring that energy procurement and management processes run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Project Management
* Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, addressing any day-to-day queries.
* Coordinate and chair client meetings (with senior colleagues as required).
* Oversee inbox monitoring, task allocation, and general client communications.
Energy Services
* Assist in implementing and maintaining energy procurement strategies (gas, electric, and more).
* Organise site surveys and manage meter identification processes.
* Manage tendering for energy supply and related contracts.
Operational & Data Oversight
* Handle disconnection notices, transfer objections, and other data-related tasks.
* Conduct monthly KPI reporting (cost analyses, usage reports, consumption profiling).
* Monitor account executive and data executive tasks to ensure timely, accurate project delivery.
Process Improvement & Growth
* Support new portfolio/site set-up and manage installation of new energy supplies.
* Identify opportunities to enhance client experience and streamline workflows.
Person Specification
Energy Industry Experience
Demonstrable knowledge of energy procurement, reporting, and invoicing. (Fix and flex knowledge required)
Account Management Skills
Proven track record in managing and nurturing client relationships.
Leadership & Collaboration
Comfortable working with both senior stakeholders and junior team members.
Communication & Presentation –
Strong written/verbal abilities and confidence in presenting to clients.
Analytical Mindset
Adept at problem-solving, cost analysis, and data interpretation.
Time Management
Ability to balance multiple tasks and meet critical deadlines.
