Lead Systems Engineer for a permanent role within an engineering company in Clevedon, BS21. This is a new role due to a period of growth within the company and will have responsibility for leading, empowering and motivating a growing team of Systems Engineers for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Salary: Up to £58,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Hours: Monday – Friday - Flexible start/finish times

About the Role:
1. Concept to customer commissioning and field trials
2. The application of best-practice engineering to ensure on-time delivery, within strategic operational budget and to specification
3. Work at the core of our engineering and product development teams using Systems Engineering tools and methods to bring clarity from ambiguity
4. Translate product visions into clear and concise requirements using Systems Engineering processes such as Use Cases, Context Diagrams, Architectures and more
5. Use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to develop Functional, Logical, and Behavioural architectures to understand the operations and flow of the System
6. Lead and coach a growing core team of Systems Engineers of all levels of expertise to continue their development towards being a Lead SE themselves.
The Right Candidate:
1. Systems Engineering Degree, or demonstrable equivalent
2. More than 5 years’ experience of practical application of best-practice Systems Engineering in a relatable engineering industry
3. Excellent influencing and negotiation skills at multiple organisational levels and able to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams
4. High level of integrity and accountability with a results-driven mindset, able to set the standard, and hold people accountable to deliver
5. Experience of effectively coaching others
