This has allowed us to recognise the skills and knowledge within our Group and expand our team to offer our patients the best care. To ensure job security, the practice employs all members of the PCN.

Main Duties of the Job
The Programme Manager will play a pivotal role in the continued development of high-quality primary care services delivered across Beacon Medical Group. Working with clinical and operational teams to identify opportunities to make positive transformations for patients and staff whilst maintaining focus on governance and safe practice. Mobilising and implementing projects to strengthen our services.

We are a team of Partners, Salaried GPs, Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Practice and specialist Nurses, HCAs, Phlebotomists, First Contact Physios, Social Prescribers, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Clinical Practitioners and Administrative support staff. Job Description
Main Responsibilities
1. Take responsibility for the project management, development, and delivery of a portfolio of projects and work-streams across a range of areas, focusing on quality, resilience, improvement, and transformation.
2. Lead on transformation and innovation of services across the practice and PCN.
3. To lead on strategic practice developments and manage the implementation of significant projects for the practice including relationships with other practices and agencies regarding improved healthcare provision.
4. To be responsible for ensuring that the practice delivers appropriate healthcare through understanding local population needs and working with the partners and other key players to ensure that services change to meet the needs of the local population.
5. Lead teams and support clinicians and managers to review current service models/delivery with a view to improving and transforming through best use of resources to provide better, faster, and safer care.
6. Support the senior management team with the writing of business and development plans.
7. Attend cross-organisation meetings as required.
8. Write and submit project reports for the Board as required, showing progress against milestones, status, issues, and risks.
9. Oversee the rollout and delivery of new services, working alongside the Head of Operations and Operations Managers.
10. Be a champion for best practices, learning from experience and from others, supporting the spread of innovation within the Practice.
11. Develop programme and project management tools, reports, and templates that are transferable between projects, and can be used for the whole project lifetime, from design to delivery.
12. Assist the Senior Leadership Team with the review of capacity planning, ensuring that the practice delivers appropriate healthcare through understanding local population needs and working with the partners and other key players to ensure that services change to meet the needs of the local population.
13. Maximise income-generating potential through the feasibility and scrutiny of new service opportunities, working with team members to ensure services are running efficiently, effectively and meeting service delivery targets.
14. Participate in the development, production, and implementation of policies and procedures which facilitate the operational and quality effectiveness of the defined service areas.
15. Provide management oversight for the practice clinical research portfolio.
16. To undertake other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as required.
17. Support workforce development planning in relation to new services, service improvements and service redesign.
