ROLE SUMMARY This role sits in the Omnichannel Services & Solutions team who are the business’s trusted partner for Search & Social Channel Enablement. We support the systems & processes required to: Compliantly and impactfully publish, promote, monitor and measure content through social media platforms like Facebook, HQ WhatsApp & YouTube Understand the online discussions happening around our products and therapy areas through Social Listening Understand what product & therapy area information and content people are looking for through search engines like Google Ensure that appropriate audiences are able to find our website content through search engines like Google The Search & Social Channel Enablement Solution Engineer is a highly technical role, responsible for managing the technical delivery of services within Search & Social Channel Enablement team. This position serves as a vital consultant and subject matter expert, working closely with Delivery Leads, Technical Services Leads, Service Owners, vendors, and development teams to ensure successful implementation and operation of the team’s services on 3rd party and Pfizer owned platforms. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES The role is responsible for: Identifying and managing automation across our internal search and social media services using third party systems and AI to reduce unnecessary work and ensuring OSS Social platforms are compliant Be accountable for the technical implementation of connected SEO, Social and data warehouse tools across the team Work in partnership with the Chief Marketing Office SEO lead and our SEO consultants to facilitate the global improvement of SEO across all Pfizer assets by ensuring that technical standards are adhered to during the Pfizer website lifecycle Provide technical guidance, consultation, and support to Delivery Leads, Technical Services Leads, Service Owners, vendors, and development teams during service implementation and delivery. Provide technical input and recommendations for service improvements, platform upgrades, and new technology adoption. Collaborate with vendors and development teams to troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions. Coordinate with support teams to address and resolve any technical problems or incidents related to service delivery. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to search & social media services and platforms. Participate in technical design reviews and solution evaluations to ensure alignment with Pfizer's technology strategies and standards. Ensure compliance with relevant security protocols, regulations, and industry best practices during service delivery and platform integration. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Strong experience in web development, mobile applications, digital marketing technologies, and related platforms. Strong proficiency in programming languages, frameworks, and development tools relevant to OSS's services and platforms. Proven expertise in technical analysis, solution design, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Strong understanding of security, compliance, and industry best practices related to digital marketing services and platforms. Experience in technical training and knowledge transfer. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with Instant Messaging platforms such as WhatsApp Business. Experience with Social Management Platforms such as Sprinklr. Experience with SEO platforms such as SEMRush, Conductor, Google Search Console. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficient in developing and implementing service level agreements, KPIs, and performance metrics. Understanding of chatbot design.
