Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to cover a KS1 class in a lovely school in the Boston area. This is a great opportunity for ECT's to gain experience or ex-teachers looking to get back in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
5. Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities in line with the EYFS framework.
6. Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's holistic development.
7. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning experiences.
8. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to ensure continuity of care and learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.
9. Assess children's progress and provide feedback to support their individual learning journey.
10. Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
11. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in early years settings.
12. Strong knowledge of Key Stage 1 (KS1) framework and principles.
13. Creativity and enthusiasm for delivering play-based learning experiences.
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and adults.
15. Flexibility and adaptability to work in different early years settings and with different age groups.
16. Valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
