The post holder will work alongside colleagues within the MDT to provide evidence-based treatment to the young people and families throughout Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County who present with a significant eating disorder. The MDT meets on a weekly basis to consider all referrals into the team, discuss assessments, and have complex case discussions, of which the post holder will contribute to this and bring their knowledge and expertise to support the team processes and reflections.
You will offer specialist assessment and treatment for young people who present with a significant eating disorder. You will provide liaison, consultation, and support to other agencies and work closely with our partners in paediatrics and inpatient/wider CAMHS. You will be supported to take on a leadership role to ensure service development and provide leadership cover when required to support the service lead. You will offer support and supervision to more junior colleagues, students, and trainees.
