The Role:
As a Senior Case Worker you’ll be part of our fast-paced and dynamic Adults Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH ), working with skilled practitioners to manage incoming safeguarding referrals by telephone and online forms. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you’ll work closely with our partner agencies, including the police and the health service, to give the best possible response when concerns are reported.
Our team receives all Adult safeguarding referrals from across the county, which includes Older Adults, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and Mental Health. We strive to promote our Care Act (2014) duties, particularly the importance of Making Safeguarding Personal and ensuring access to advocacy services.

Supported by qualified social/health care professionals, you'll prioritise cases, hold a caseload and work towards effective and positive outcomes for adults at risk, gathering information from other agencies and using this to decide the most appropriate intervention to respond to their identified needs. You’ll need excellent IT skills and embrace full use of digital technology to effectively support your work. The ability to communicate compassionately via the telephone to identify care and support needs will also be essential. As a Senior Case Worke r you’ll support more complex cases and provide coaching and mentoring support to Case Workers.
