The Job Role
As Senior Service Charge Accountant, you will contribute to our vision of being the you will contribute to our vision of being the UK's leading property manager, as recognised by our colleagues, customers and partners:
* Delivering accurate financial statements and records to our customers
* Ensuring timely and accurate Estate Finances
* Supporting operations in communicating and understanding service charge
This role reports to the Scheme Accounts Team Leader and has no direct reports.
Main Responsibilities
* Accurate and timely preparation and distribution of Service Charge accounts
* Accurate and timely preparation and distribution of property budgets
* Liaise effectively with auditors to deliver a smooth audit process and provide the best possible outcome for our customers and our clients
* Pro-actively liaise with managers and auditors on any areas of concern ensuring clear action plans for resolution
* Contribute positively and effectively to the team through creative ideas, tested processes or feedback from colleagues/external parties
* Supporting our operations team where necessary
* Monthly balance sheet analysis
* Cross development analysis
* Some travel to developments may be required in this role

Skills and Experience
* Service Charge Accounting experience
* Work towards a professional qualification (AAT / ACCA) would be an advantage but not essential.
* High attention to detail with the ability to see and challenge information.
* Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
* Self-motivated and organised, able to prioritise own workload.
* A team player demonstrates working towards a common goal.
* Strong customer focus, understanding both internal and external stakeholders.
