As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the property management team while also managing a small portfolio under the guidance of a Senior Property Manager. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and eager to develop their expertise in residential property management.
Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Inspections & Maintenance
* Oversee the day-to-day management of your portfolio in line with RICS Residential Code and industry best practices.
* Conduct regular site inspections, document findings, and report issues to the Property Manager.
* Liaise with contractors to arrange maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
* Manage reactive maintenance requests, ensuring jobs are logged correctly before instructing contractors.
* Track and update compliance records, including risk assessments, asbestos reports, and health & safety checks.
Resident & Client Engagement
1. Organise and attend resident meetings, AGMs, and client updates.
2. Maintain regular communication with residents, providing clear updates on works, projects, and queries.
