RG Consultancy are working with a very well established manufacturing business in Stockport who are looking to recruit an Accounts Manager. This is a stand-alone role to manage the accounts and payroll for an SME. You will report back to the Managing Director of the business 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays Christmas close down Flexible working hours Free onsite parking Pension scheme Study support The Role To manage the purchase ledger and sales ledger function Raise invoices, matching against deliveries, set up and maintain new suppliers Bank reconciliations Credit control, chasing late payments and resolving any queries Providing P&L support to the Managing Director Managing and processing a small payroll Being the first point of contact for any accounts queries Managing the accounts inbox and answering the phone Liaising with the company's external accountant The Person Experience working in an all-around accounts role for an SME An AAT qualification would be an advantage Experience using SAGE would be an advantage Confident communicator both written and verbally
