Role: Reporting & Pricing Analyst Location: Hybrid Permanent The Role: As the Reporting & Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and reporting on effective pricing, analysing data and ensuring competitive pricing to help maintain profitability for new and existing products. The position will active this through the implementation of a more strategic mindset to the outcomes and actions arising from pro-active analysis of our markets and datasets. Your Responsibilities: Provide regular reporting to our capacity providers as needed and to other key stakeholders. Work closely with the MI team to ensure the right data dashboards are set up to deliver on our strategic goals and priorities. Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, objectives and barriers where required Utilise data analytics to provide insights and intelligence to identify patterns, trends and areas for improvement in our pricing. Deliver high quality relevant recommendations, driving and monitoring action areas for potential business development focus, for example by identifying opportunities for specific target customers. Work with the Head of Technical Underwriting to help draft strategic pricing plans. Your Skills & Experience: Insurance industry experience Delivers results & proven ability to work to deadlines Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets Ownership and accountability for performance Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data and recommendations in a way that is simple to interpret for all types of audiences. Strong commercial awareness and strategic mindset Fully computer literate in MS Office applications including Excel Your Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Economics or Mathematics/Statistics & or equivalent relevant industry experience.
