A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a welcoming ASD secondary SEN school in Kennington, seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2025.

The Role:
As the school's English Teacher, you will:
1. Deliver engaging and accessible English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
2. Differentiating your teaching to meet the diverse needs of students with ASD and varying communication styles.
3. Support pupils in preparing for Entry Level, Functional Skills, and where appropriate, GCSE English.
4. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the SENCO to implement EHCPs.
5. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes student confidence and curiosity.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
2. Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
3. A genuine interest in working within SEN, ideally with previous experience in an ASD setting.
4. Strong behaviour management skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
