Description A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Day Shift - Goods In Manager to join us, at a new site in Greenford The Goods In Manager is responsible for full management of the goods in team and the goods received daily, as well as creating a positive and productive relationship with the client who places significant expectations on the achievement of excellent customer service. Key Accountabilities Accurately receive in deliveries of goods. To be able to manually load & unload vehicles on a daily basis. Accurately pick goods for transfer to other depots or customers Ensure location information is up to date and accurate when locating goods in the warehouse Carry out stock rotation activities Ensure sure paperwork is correctly filled out Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves. Making sure orders are despatched on time Carrying out spot checks and audits Auditing stock movements across warehouse and resolving any discrepancies Collaboration with the wider team to continually improve ways of working & processes. Ensure all Legal, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Operational procedures are always adhered to ensure the safety of self and others. Report any injuries, accidents and any Health and Safety issues. Adhering to procedures and practises according to the training received. To participate and be involved in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement Ability to plan operations around holiday / absence. Track employee performance and react accordingly. Engage with team members regularly and communicate effectively. Communicate effectively to ensure a smooth shift handover to the night shift. Report any maintainence & Training needs of the team. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Experience in warehouse / management is essential. Experience with tyres is essential.
