About this opportunity…
The Senior Service Advisor will maintain excellent customer service by working with customers to determine their requirements, agreeing timeframes, and working with technicians to convey the customers' concerns with accurate descriptions. To be a successful Senior Service Advisor, you should have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Key responsibilities…
* Greet customers warmly and assess their service requirements.
* Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, ensuring customers understand the work being performed on their vehicles.
* Handle payments accurately and efficiently, maintaining a balanced account drawer.
* Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle performance or longevity.
* Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of service requests to optimise customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up communications.
* Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while keeping customers informed throughout the process.
* Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
What you’ll bring…
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
* Proficient in cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
* Basic mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
* Experience in upselling services or products is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to explain complex information clearly.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
