The Role
As the Marketing Analyst, you will work with the wider business to conduct analysis using quantitative data to solve complex business problems and generate user insights.
You will focus on supporting marketing (offline and online advertising, website optimisation) while also working on improving measurement and reporting across all marketing functions. You will lead data insights and identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue that impacts the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support marketing by empowering them to make data-driven decisions by building actionable and useful reports.
2. Support the automation and extraction of key data points, and help automate processes.
3. Act as an ambassador for data and analytics, showcasing the value it can add to enrolments, the customer experience, and new acquisitions.
4. Contribute to channel attribution modelling, budget planning, A/B testing and CRO, and website analytics.
5. Conduct analysis to inform marketing decisions related to marketing spend, lead generation, opportunity creation, engagement & retention, and return on investment.
6. Gather and interpret customer goals using data from a wide range of sources, identify trends in customer feedback, and drive improvement opportunities with analytics.
7. Create dashboards to track and monitor web analytics and the customer journey (lead to enrolment).
8. Understand APIs and how to integrate to first-party data (CRM – Microsoft Dynamics preferable).
9. Conduct thorough investigations into data errors and inconsistent data trends.
10. Continue to evolve the web, social, media, and analytics work, developing areas such as journey analytics, digital effectiveness, and attribution.
Experience Required
1. Previous experience working in an analyst role supporting a marketing function.
2. In-depth knowledge of web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Clicktale, Crazy Egg, Optimizely, Power BI, Microsoft Power Apps) and their strengths and weaknesses.
3. Analytical and data-driven thinker.
