Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Acton, West London
Working arrangements: Hybrid working (3 days site / 2 days remote)
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance and Excellent Benefits

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the full commercial management of large subcontract packages on a major infrastructure project in West London. You'll lead from the front, working closely with the project team, clients, and subcontractors, managing everything from contract negotiations to cost forecasting alongside the development of a small team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing all commercial aspects of a large subcontract package from contract administration to final accounts.
Leading the preparation and submission of applications, valuations, and financial reports.
Conducting risk assessments and cost control to ensure profitability and compliance.
Overseeing supply chain contract management, from preparation to close-out.
Providing strategic advice to clients and project teams, ensuring the best commercial outcomes.
Working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.
Maintaining thorough records and issuing timely, accurate contractual notices and correspondence.My client can offer a position that includes job security, an excellent work life balance, great career prospects and a generous salary & package that includes:

Proven experience in a senior commercial role within the construction industry.
Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience in contract management, cost control, and risk analysis.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems innovatively.
Knowledge of the NEC contract and previous heavy civil engineering and/or infrastructure experience
