Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to work in an evolving and busy ICT department. This role plays an important part in supporting front line NHS staff such as Paramedics, 999 and 111 call takers, as well as our corporate enablers such as finance, estates, and HR. No two days are the same, but you will be part of a vital organization helping to save lives, covering a wide area with a population of 7 million from Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire to Hampshire.
The role will also work alongside technical specialists, drawing on their skills and knowledge to provide a cohesive support service and to help deliver the future ICT roadmap to this respected NHS Ambulance Service.

This will be office-based at Northern House, Bicester
Main duties of the job
* Ensuring equipment is asset tagged and recorded according to Trust requirements.
* Building and deploying laptops with Windows 11 using SCCM where training will be provided.
* Engaging with end-users to support them in transitioning to new devices/systems.
* Receiving and safely disposing of old equipment.

Qualifications
Essential
* A demonstrable high level of literacy and numeracy recognisable academic qualification.
* Evidence of further IT training or other relevant training in a formal environment from an industry-recognised provider or appropriate experience.
* Demonstrable experience of providing 1st and 2nd line technical support along with the ability to explain key principles and technical schemas to non-technical staff.
* Able to follow policies and procedures.
* Ability to deal with non-technical staff on IT issues.
* Must be UK Resident and able to work on site.
* Must hold a UK Driving License and have own transport.
