Salary: 40K - 50K + car/allowance + commission
Summary:
Business Development Manager is required to join the South Wales based team of this well-established third-party logistics provider. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, fostering client relationships and enhancing the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients.
2. Identify and target new clients.
3. Prepare and present proposals to potential clients.
4. Negotiate contract terms.
5. Monitor and track sales performance using relevant metrics and analytics.
6. Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows, and conferences.
Key Skills/Experience:
1. Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience within the transport and logistics industry ideally, but will consider experience from a B2B environment selling a service solution.
2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
3. Proficient in the use of CRM systems and MS Office.
4. Strategic thinker able to analyze market trends and formulate effective business strategies.
