Trainee Parts Advisor
Our client, a global leading construction and industrial franchise, is actively seeking a Trainee Parts Advisor to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role, based in Wymondham.
Main Purpose of the Role:
You will on occasion need to present a Parts solution to the customer and frequently liaise with the Manufacturer.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Parts background is desirable, but we would consider candidates with general knowledge of parts.
2. Automotive, truck, or car experience, or dealership background is desirable.
3. Proven record of making calls resulting in sales is desirable.
4. Knowledge of ADP and TBS desirable (training will be given).
5. Clean driving licence and good driving record.
6. Fork lift truck driving licence is desirable (training will be provided).
7. Teamwork, ability to work confidently within a group and on own initiative.
8. Time Management, prioritising tasks and working to deadlines, whilst being quality focused to ensure the right parts are sourced.
9. Availability to work Saturday morning Rota as overtime (usually 2 in 5 Saturday mornings).
10. Proof of right to work in the UK.
Duties:
1. Build strong and positive relationships with customers.
2. Assist with customer enquiries/orders.
3. To promote and sell Parts to new and existing customers.
4. Present a professional image and portray a polite and courteous manner at all times.
5. Take parts orders and sell in order to meet Company targets and support all campaigns.
6. Answer all incoming calls and respond to messages promptly.
7. Maintain correct off-the-shelf availability and distribute parts accordingly.
8. Receive and check in deliveries on our computer system promptly and efficiently.
9. Attend service counter area and take orders/enquiries from Service Engineers.
10. Ship parts using FedEx to remote Engineers via By Box.
11. Ensure Parts for service jobs are picked and ready for the Engineers.
12. Ensure return to stock for parts not required.
13. Parts returns to be sent back with appropriate paperwork, when necessary.
14. Operate fork lift in a safe and responsible manner.
