When you join us as a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders - patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
You Will:
1. Perform high quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing excellent care.
2. Follow company established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
3. Under the direction of the radiologist, administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes.
4. Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
5. Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
6. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
7. Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
8. Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
9. Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on-site or on patient portals.
10. Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
11. Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
12. Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
13. Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
1. ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
2. State Nuclear Medicine License.
3. Must have venipuncture certification/permit.
4. BLS certification.
5. At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!
