Role:
* Deliver Science lessons to KS3, 4 and 5
* Engage and inspire students, fostering a love for science
* Contribute to the ongoing development and success of the science department
* Responsible for the academic performance and behaviour of the groups taught
* To plan and prepare lessons
* To keep accurate records of all the work covered by all teaching groups
* To keep accurate records of all students’ progress
* To contribute to the schemes of work
* To deliver all aspects of the curriculum
* To carry out tasks allocated with the faculty/subject area
Experience, Qualifications and Training:
* We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of science
* Must be appropriately qualified – QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
* Ability to teach GCSE and A ‘level Science (advantageous)
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential). Training will be provided.
* Suitable role for experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECT)
