Chartwell Trust Care are looking for a Team Leader to join our homes supporting people to live a fulfilling life. At Chartwell Trust Care, we believe in providing excellent person-centred support to all of our residents. You will be working at our Supported Living home.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support care staff in delivering high-quality care to residents.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans and ensure any relevant paperwork is completed to a high standard.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure a supportive environment and smooth running of the home.
* Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in senior care and IT systems relevant to the role.
* Provide quality care to our residents.
* Act as the first point of contact for our Support Workers and collaborate with the Deputy and Registered Managers to complete management tasks to a high standard.
* Drive initiatives that enhance resident well-being and satisfaction.
Experience
* Previous experience in a leadership role within a care home or similar environment is essential.
* Strong understanding of senior care practices and the ability to implement effective care plans.
* Proficiency in IT systems used for managing resident information and care documentation.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, residents, and families.
* Holding or working towards an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care.
