VinciWorks is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor/Producer to join our production team. Working closely with the Head of Video you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video assets for our innovative eLearning courses on topics such as Compliance, Cyber Security, Health & Safety, Diversity & Inclusion and more. Our filming includes drama scenarios, expert interviews and lived experience stories, and our videos are used by thousands of companies around the world.
Key responsibilities
* Editing within a 4k workflow using Apple Final Cut Pro to create compelling video segments that align with course learning objectives. Masterfully utilise editing techniques to maximise impact and engagement.
* Work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other team members to conceptualise and produce scripted dramas, documentary sequences, animated explainers and other video formats that bring course concepts to life.
* Ensure technical excellence in editing - colour correction, audio mixing, graphics, transitions, etc. Perform quality control on all video deliverables.
* Provide creative input on video styles, techniques, and formats to push the boundaries of video for learning.
* Manage video production timelines and deliverables, including voiceover casting and recording, managing creation of closed captions.
* Stay current on innovations in video technology, equipment, and editing techniques.
Requirements
* 3+ years experience editing high-quality video using Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro. Proficiency with the Canon cinema camera suite or previous experience with video for learning an advantage, but not essential.
* Strong storytelling ability with a compelling editing style. Expertise in post-production techniques.
* Good time management and self motivation as you will be working on a number of projects all with varying completion timelines.
* Collaborative team player with ability to bring creative ideas from conception to polished final video assets.
* Passion for leveraging video to create impactful learning experiences.
* Self-motivated with ability to work remotely in a dynamic production environment.
* A valid UK driver’s license.
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in film or video production or with strong industry experience will be preferred.
Salary Range
This is a full-time remote position based in the UK with salary between £37,500 and £42,500 and benefits offered.
