Job Description
Telesales / Business Development Representative required. Our client are OEM specialists with resources dedicated to full stack IT infrastructure, high-performance computing, and embedded technology, our proven implementation and integration services have seen great success with leading enterprises.
They are now looking for a Telesales Representative to join their team based in Worthing. The successful candidate will be IT literate and will be reporting to the team leader.
Position Overview
1. Proactively cold call and prospect new clients, booking meetings for external sales team to attend.
2. Maintain new prospects lists to create a manageable monthly follow up call list.
3. Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database.
4. Plan and assist with direct marketing activities for lead generation
5. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills both technically and commercially
6. Continually maintain an effective understanding of the Embedded, industrial and medical IT Markets and broad business / economic landscape to enhance sales, effectiveness, this will be achieved by self-study and attendance of company led training.
7. Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s / revenue targets
Position Requirements
8. Self-starter with a drive and determination to build their career
9. Experience in a similar role
10. A highly competitive nature and charisma
11. Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
12. Demonstrable knowledge and expertise of the sales lifecycle and supporting processes
13. The ability to self-motivate, push forward and succeed in a sometimes challenge business change environment
14. IT Literate – with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Position Remuneration
15. Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week
16. Salary £27,000 – £31,000 DOE (+15,000 OTE)
