PDI Team Leader

CLdN Automotive Ltd. is a Vehicle Enhancement Centre where vehicles are prepared for customer handover and commercial vehicles are being built to fleet customers’ specifications. It is a busy, fast-paced environment and as the company continues on its rapid growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a PDI Team Leader.
Your role
1. Ensure the targets of the PDI line are met and escalate to the Supervisor if not.
2. Complete all overdue work as directed by Manager or Supervisor.
3. Cross train the team to ensure effective coverage of roles on the PDI line / Stores.
4. Perform safety and quality observations on front line staff and report findings.
5. Support the Supervisor with daily briefings.
6. Investigate the status of vehicles and provide timely feedback to the Management Team.
7. Report any patterns or anomalies on quality issues and defects to Supervisors.
8. Understand vehicle damage, its causes, locations, and rectification methods.
9. Ensure HR policies are followed and communicate relevant information to Management.
10. Communicate effectively with employees and Supervisors regarding issues.
11. Utilize diagnostic equipment for issue rectification and escalation.
12. Interpret vehicle paperwork, locate VIN numbers, and confirm accessories for different vehicle types.
13. Adhere to Company processes to a high standard.
14. Follow Health & Safety rules and work towards an IOSH qualification.
15. Attend toolbox meetings and assist the Supervisor with compliance.
16. Coordinate with the Customer Service Department on various topics in the Supervisor's absence.
17. Document agency hours and absence records for the Supervisor.
18. Collaborate with the internal Valet Team.
Your profile
1. Full clean driving license.
2. High degree of flexibility with working hours.
3. Good communication skills with ability to instruct.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Basic IT skill set.
6. Hands-on experience related to main duties.
Desirable
1. Health & Safety IOSH qualification.
2. Experience in automotive environment.
3. Team Leader experience.
4. Forklift license.
