Serve as the first point of contact for calls, taking detailed messages and directing them to the appropriate personnel. Support the Nursing LAC team with delegated tasks as needed. Communicate professionally with staff and the public, ensuring accurate and effective information sharing, including use of interpreter services when necessary. Update and maintain the RiO system, including client registration and data entry with high accuracy. Prepare and send accurate correspondence such as appointment letters and reports within deadlines. Handle general office duties, including phone calls, photocopying, scanning, and file management. Manage emails, prioritize actions, and notify staff of strategy meetings and other important updates. Maintain and update health records, ensuring accurate tracking of childrens personal and health information. Set up and manage record-keeping systems for children entering or leaving care. Organize and distribute LAC records and request files from different sources as needed. Book and process health assessments for LAC children and young people. Generate and provide statistical data on LAC cases. Coordinate with the LAC Nursing Team and other professionals about LAC cases. Attend and provide administrative support at LAC Health Service Team meetings, including minute-taking. Prepare reports for the Designated LAC Nurse and other professionals as needed. Assist with data collection and analysis for annual returns. Provide training to Bank staff and maintain LAC Health Service spreadsheets. Monitor LAC waiting lists and assist with the management of service processes. Handle initial verbal complaints in accordance with Oxleas Complaints Policy to prevent escalation.
