A leading precision manufacturing organisation in High Wycombe are recruiting now for a Vacuum Production Operative to join them on a full time, permanent basis as a direct result of company growth. This manufacturing organisation specialise in a variety of machining, forming and assembling capabilities and require an experienced Machine Operator/Production Operative that can set and operate vacuum forming machines.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating vacuum forming machines, ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet our stringent standards. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities and Desired Experience:
1. Machine Operation: Set up and operate vacuum forming machines to produce parts according to specifications.
2. Material Handling: Load and unload plastic sheets and other materials into the vacuum forming machine.
3. Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
6. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating vacuum forming machines in a manufacturing environment.
7. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of vacuum forming processes and equipment.
8. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move materials and tools, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
9. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in inspecting and producing parts.
10. Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
