Please note, this is a fixed term position for 2 years (from the start date)Working hours: 35 hours per weekInterview Date: Week commencing 28 April 2025We are looking to recruit a Children & Family Mission Worker to deliver the children and family focused spiritual programmes within the West London area and local community, in accordance with the Mission Development Plan, to bring children and families into a living faith in Jesus.The position will involve supporting the West London area including Feltham, Hillingdon Borough, Ealing, Harrow, Greenford, Hounslow, Teddington and Twickenham.Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational delivery of children and family spiritual programmes and initiatives to support the successful delivery of mission to the community.The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:Commitment to Christianity and are a practising Christian with a willingness and ability to bring ministry to the communityExperience of organising community activities for a range of different programme participantsAbility to prioritise, organise and manage your own workload to meet objectivesGood communication skills and can develop effective working RelationshipsA good level of English - both spoken and written - and numeracy at GCSE level or equivalentHave experience in Networking with statutory bodiesThis role has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a committed and practising Christian and will be in sympathy with the doctrines of, and supportive of, the purposes and the aims and objectives of The Salvation Army.
