Location: Bolton (with occasional travel to other depots)
Salary: £40000-£50000 + £5000 car allowance

About the Role
As the SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for driving the company’s health, safety, quality, and environmental standards across multiple locations. Working closely with senior management and on-site teams, you will ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and monitor SHEQ policies and procedures
* Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and industry standards
* Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
* Lead and prepare for HSQE meetings, audits, and external inspections
* Manage company certifications and regulatory compliance (ISO, Lloyds)
* Oversee the onboarding of subcontractors and ensure compliance
* Promote a proactive safety culture through training and engagement initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a SHEQ management role within construction/utilities
* Strong leadership & people management skills
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
* Experience with ISO 9001/14001, NEBOSH, and safety qualifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Full UK Driving Licence (occasional travel required)
