The Role ST Team Leader will be responsible for t he day to day management of the department and providing support to the ST Production Lead as required. This will include managing the performance of the team, decision-making on issues relating to production and output, liaising with other departments to ensure there are no issues affecting production, as well as managing day to day people issues such as absence, performance etc. Role responsibilities include but are not limited to: Organising machine manning against available operators Ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner providing the correct level of support and guidance to the team members Dealing with all people-related issues such as absence management, performance, managing behaviours Making sure warping and setting jobs are on track for planned deadlines; liaising with warpers and technicians to ensure targets are achieved Ensuring an effective shift handover is delivered Requirements: Proven experience in leading a team Experience in running multiple departments Experience in 5s implementation and sustaining ILM qualification (level 3 or higher) is desirable Positive can-do attitude and excellent communication skills Proven knowledge and experience of the automotive core tools, either AIAG or VDA variant: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and 8D Proven experience of the QMS requirements for the role as stated in the IATF 16949:2016 Standard, incl.
