Candidates are required to secure Developed Vetting (DV) clearance for this role. This requires you to be a British citizen and to have lived in the UK for at least 10 years. There are more requirements, but if you don’t fulfill these two, your application will not be considered further.
Other requirements:
1. Top undergraduate degree or PhD in a numerate discipline with strong supporting A Levels including A*’s in Maths and Physics
2. Software development experience around cyber security or signal/image/data processing
3. Ideally good knowledge of C/C++ with additional knowledge of Rust, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
4. Strong communication skills, able to explain complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
