Job summary As a Strategy Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in delivering dedicated support to victims of sexual assault. We are seeking passionate and caring individuals, to join us. Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities: We anticipate that the Strategy Coordinator will be a part of all strategy meetings with both the police and social care and be able to advise with the aid of strict criteria the best route for the child or young person. This will include ensuring that children who require a child protection medical are not brought to the SARC and are directed to the most appropriate Paediatrician. The aim of each strategy meeting will be to ensure that all elements of the child's attendance whether this be acute or non-recent are discussed as part of a multi-agency arena. When acting as Crisis Worker will be responsible for providing cover for both the Paediatric and adult Forensic Services at The SARC's. To maintain accurate record keeping/documentation and to maintain confidential client notes as per protocols. To liaise with other voluntary and statutory agencies in meeting other health and psychological needs of the patients. To ensure the secure storage of all SARC files and forensic samples for potential use in the context of a criminal investigation.
