Established in 2018, the company operates from a modern 6,000-8,000 sq. ft. facility equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, most of which is less than six years old. The company supports a skilled team of 15 and is expanding due to the investment in new machinery. With a focus on quality and precision, they provide high-performance solutions for the Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Engineering, and Plastics industries, using the latest CNC technology. As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components to exacting standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Programming and Operation: Program, set, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components. Machining: Work to technical drawings and tight tolerances, ensuring quality and consistency. Tooling Management: Set up and maintain tools and fixtures, ensuring optimal machining performance. Inspection: Use precision measuring tools, such as micrometres and callipers, to verify the accuracy of finished components. Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and report issues promptly to minimise downtime. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and production teams to optimise machining processes and improve productivity. What You'll Bring Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Turner within a precision engineering environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC turning processes, tooling, and GD&T principles. Programming Skills: Proficiency with [specific controls, e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazatrol] is advantageous.
