Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a primary school located in Stoke-on-Trent. They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic full-time Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will work closely with other members of staff to support children with varying behavioural needs, promoting a positive work environment. Opportunity to earn a competitive salary (dependent on experience) Working with a supportive and experienced team Key responsibilities: Working 1-1 with students to support their behavioural and emotional needs Working closely with the class teacher and other members of staff to implement and monitor behaviour strategies Liaise with parents and carers to provide updates on the students social, emotional and academic development Work with other members of staff to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students What we are looking for: Experience working with SEN is necessary for this role Confident communication between other members of staff to promote a positive working environment Patient and empathetic with the ability to remain calm in high pressure environments Relevant qualifications (e.g. Behaviour Management Training/TA) are desirable but not essential Safeguarding training (this must be done through Teaching Personnel) To be considered for this role, applicants must have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
