This role offers a unique chance for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to play a pivotal part in a dynamic, independent, international organisation. Reporting directly to the Tax Controller, the position provides significant involvement in both strategic and operational tax functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing expert tax estimates for tenders and contracts, ensuring compliance with tax terms in drilling service agreements.
2. Managing tax registrations and bank account setups for new country operations.
3. Reviewing and overseeing the submission of annual tax returns, withholding tax, and VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions.
4. Monitoring and managing tax payment deadlines, contributing to accounting and budgeting processes.
5. Preparing quarterly and year-end tax reporting, addressing queries from Auditors and management.
6. Responding to tax audits and information requests from tax authorities.
7. Developing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation and internal agreements.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Extensive experience with the tax implications of multi-jurisdictional international operations.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting systems.
3. Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
