Applicants must undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.\n\n \n\nMore about the role:\n\nResponsibilities Include: \n\nSupervise the day to day running of the Hospitality operation across the College’s venues\n\nDelivering events, ensuring all guests receive an impeccable level of service\n\nSupervising the front of house team to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service to all.\n\nEnsuring all allergen management processes are followed & that food is delivered in a safe & secure manner \n\nEngaging with pupils, staff and visitors to customise each events requirement to deliver a dedicated bespoke service.\n\nCommunicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets\n\nImplementation of Health & Safety withing the hospitality department\n\nBring ideas and innovation to the Hospitality, as well as raising the standard of service\n\n \n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n \n\nProven experience in a high-end hospitality environment is a must have.\n\nStrong organisational & time management skills—you can juggle priorities without breaking a sweat.\n\nThe ability to liaise effectively with clients, managers and stakeholders.\n\nBe passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service\n\nA hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset and a "can-do attitude".\n\nAttention to detail that ensures every client interaction is flawless.\n\nAn outgoing & confident personality, fostering team spirit and a supportive work culture.\n\nA good understanding of the hospitality industry trends, with a proactive approach to innovation and client satisfaction.\n\nDriving license\n\nPerson Specifications \n\n• Customer service experience (essential).\n\n• Genuine interest in working within a school setting.\n\n• Excellent communication skills.\n\n• Ability to stay calm in demanding situations.\n\n• Friendly and approachable manner.\n\n• Ability to interact with all types of people with courtesy and tact.\n\n• Ability to work as part of a team.\n\n• Good IT skills.\n\nAbout UsPart of Compass Group UK&I, Chartwells is the leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector.
