Contracts Manager required in Hampshire
GVR Solutions have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to work for a well-established and growing contractor, based in Portsmouth. This opportunity is to join their rapidly growing façade and curtain walling division which mainly works within the Residential, Hospitality, Retail sector plus many more.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing and managing projects
2. Attend pre-start & progress meetings with Client and Contractor.
3. Regularly liaising with Quantity Surveyors, Designers, Site managers and production to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Providing relevant information for a successful project, including design information, survey information, budget, time frame, health and safety, procurement schedule and RAMS.
5. Project reporting - risks, solutions, cost, time frames and solutions.
6. Managing project accounts
7. Managing and liaising with Installation teams to ensure labour is sourced correctly, working efficiently, within time frames and adhering to health and safety rules.
8. Overseeing procurement and deliveries.
9. Meeting Clients & Contractors to discuss upcoming project requirements and products.
10. Ensuring compliance is implemented throughout the project
11. Liaising with Design teams and internal management to ensure health & safety and Quality Standards
12. Liaising with Client to ensure Client Satisfaction throughout the project
Minimum Requirements:
1. At least 5 years experience in envelope cladding
2. Previous Contract Managerial experience
3. Proven leadership
4. A proven track record of delivery
5. Excellent oral and communication skills
6. A stable employment history
7. Strong attention to detail
8. Organised
9. Able to manage multiple projects
