Child Inclusion & Support - Immediate starts Full Time (Pay based on skills, experience, and qualifications)
We are currently looking for support staff to work in a specialist setting based in North Bradford. This school provides education for students who cannot attend mainstream schools due to exclusion, illness, or other reasons, and would not otherwise receive suitable education. The groups you will work with include KS3 and KS4 children transitioning to new environments.
You may have some experience, but more importantly, you should have a passion for working with young people aged 8-19. The work can be very rewarding; however, it can also be challenging, so you need to be resilient, calm, composed, and capable of managing challenging behaviour. Many students have challenging home lives, complex communication needs, learning difficulties, or are autistic, and some may occasionally present challenging behaviours.
