Are you a dynamic and inspirational AHP? Are you passionate about representing AHPs and keen to be the voice of expertise? If you are up for the challenge you will be pivotal in providing expert advice to a wide range of staff, implementing policy and measuring outcomes to assure the quality and safety of the Trust's AHP services.
This is a key senior leadership role at UHNM. The Chief AHP will provide credible and visible leadership both within our organisation and through professional networks at a local, regional and national level. They will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan for AHPs that supports the delivery of the Trust Strategic Objectives, the Quality Strategy, the Research Strategy and the annual operational plan.
Through living the Trust values, our Chief AHP will be a compassionate leader who will demonstrate their passion for continuous improvement in all they do. The Chief AHP will provide AHP leadership on behalf of the Trust to develop new care models aligned to the Integrated Care System. Within this context they will lead on developing the AHP workforce, harnessing their value and identifying opportunities to modernise service delivery across patient pathways.

We are looking for an experienced and driven AHP with passion and enthusiasm to join our Centre of NMAHP Research and Education Excellence as the Chief AHP. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to join an amazing team. You will need to have the necessary energy and credibility to lead the professional AHP agenda in an exciting and innovative major teaching Trust.
As a key member of the CeNREE team, you will have responsibility for driving the AHP clinical excellence national agenda forward. This will include working with the Quality Improvement team to support the roll out of our Continuous Quality Improvement Journey, âDelivering Exceptional Careâ which is very exciting!
You will have a key role in contributing to a culture that demonstrates our values and behaviours through your engaging and visible leadership style. You should have a track record in leading teams and delivering change in an engaging and thoughtful way. Working in and across teams is an important component of the role.
You will have opportunities to deputise for the Assistant Director of NMAHP Research and Academic Development at both internal and external commitments and you will be supported to develop and fulfill your potential.
