Job summary
We are looking to employ a hardworking, conscientious individual who will work as Clinical Team Administrator within the team at Oak Ward, West Park Hospital.
The successful candidate will be required to deal with both incoming and outgoing telephone calls, cashiering, aspects of diary management, arranging meetings and general office duties.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will ideally have an awareness of mental health issues and will be able to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work. They will have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy. They will be able to effectively and clearly communicate with colleagues, service users and their families.
As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a customer-focused approach. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
You are required to hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management. Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above and experience of working in a busy administrative environment and be proficient in the use of MS Office with experience of patient records systems are required.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
2. Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role. Where an applicant does not have the above qualifications or is unable to provide evidence of the certification, the applicant MUST achieve the required standards during their probationary period.
