Job Advert: Senior Electrical Contracts Manager Location: Nantwich Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Car Allowance Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Contracts Manager looking for a dynamic role in a forward-thinking company? This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee and manage large-scale electrical projects across a range of sectors, including NHS, Education, Care Homes, Health, Construction, and Defence. The Role: As a Senior Electrical Contracts Manager, you will take a hands-on approach to managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and meets the highest standards. Key responsibilities include: Planning, executing, and completing electrical contracts, ensuring deadlines and financial targets are met. Developing detailed project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Leading and motivating project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and site staff. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to health and safety standards. Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. Ensuring all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and UK regulations (e.g., BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations). Conducting quality control checks and audits to maintain high standards. Preparing and managing budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reports. Supporting tender and bid preparation to secure new contracts. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Relevant electrical qualifications and an ECS Black Card. Qualifications such as SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH. Extensive experience managing large-scale electrical projects, ideally in commercial settings. Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and UK regulations. Proficiency in project management tools and financial reporting. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
