Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ESS Nurse to join our team at HMP Swinfen Hall. HMP Stoke Heath is a Category C prison for men and young offenders located in the village of Swinfen in Staffordshire. The ESS service is part of the national personality disorder OPD pathway. It is comprised of a small multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team to offer short term specialist interventions to the young men in our service who cause disruption to the establishment. Our aim to reduce the level of disruption and risk to self and others by encouraging positive engagement. Service users present with several complex difficulties, and we offer treatment to meet the needs of the individual utilising the specialist skills of the team. Main duties of the job Working effectively within the team you will provide evidence based interventions. You will manage a caseload of patients and will be required to undertake assessments and reviews. You will be responsible for the provision of specialist interventions for mental health / personality disorder / neurodiverse service users referred to ESS. You will develop assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care and assist with the ongoing development of the ESS service.
