About the Provision: An Alternative Provision offers an alternative to mainstream schooling for students who have faced difficulties in traditional educational settings. Students often require additional support due to behavioural, emotional, or learning challenges. The provision offers a supportive, nurturing environment with smaller class sizes and a tailored curriculum designed to help students thrive. We focus on building students' confidence, skills, and resilience, ensuring they are equipped for future success. About the Role: - Supporting the delivery of Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring that students can access the curriculum at their own pace. - Working closely with the class teacher to provide targeted interventions and tailored learning strategies for students with varying needs. - Supporting students’ social and emotional development, as well as their academic progress. - Managing and tracking students’ progress, providing feedback to both students and staff. - Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to succeed. About You: - A strong understanding of the Maths curriculum at Key Stage 3 and 4. - Experience working with students who may have additional learning or behavioural needs. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. - A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students in a non-traditional educational setting. - HLTA qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
