Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Reception)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting Reception-aged children in a primary school located in the BS11 area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young learners, especially those with special educational needs (SEN), and will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to children with special educational needs in Reception.
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
* Foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere that encourages social and emotional development.
* Help with classroom management and ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly in an early years setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with young learners.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A relevant qualification in childcare or education (preferred but not essential).
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
