Description
For the past two years, Together has been working in partnership with St Martins Housing and Change Grow Live (CGL) to provide a new service delivering specialist Drug & Alcohol Housing related support to individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs across Norfolk. Due to the success of the project, funding has been extended until March 2026 and we are now looking to recruit two Senior Recovery Workers, both Norwich based, to cover Norwich, the surrounding area, and also the South of the county.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced, innovative, and driven Senior Recovery Workers. You will possess excellent communication skills, tenacity, creativity, and compassion, and will form part of a close-knit team, receiving excellent development opportunities in a role that you will find both challenging and rewarding. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to thrive in life, and we are actively passionate about playing our part to get closer to this. We are extremely proud of the work that we do and want you to join us!
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the service reaches a diverse range of people and delivers safe and high-quality support at all times.
2. Support a caseload of service users with complex needs, working with clinical colleagues at all levels, across departments, and with external agencies and stakeholders.
3. Build on an already solid foundation of partnership working, using stakeholder management skills to foster strong networks, ensuring the service is well connected to organisations providing D&A and housing support in Norfolk.
4. Promote a culture of inclusion and act as a champion for service user leadership, encouraging those using the service to direct their own support and contribute to shaping the way the service is run.
5. Be outcome-focused, drawing on your experience in supporting a diverse caseload to ensure the efficient running of the service in line with Together's ethos and policies.
