The Role We are seeking a Sales & Business Development Director to drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and identify new market opportunities. This role requires a dynamic, strategic leader with exceptional sales, negotiation, and industry expertise. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in sheet metal fabrication and laser cutting. Identify and capitalize on high-value business opportunities through networking and market research. Manage and grow £500K key accounts, ensuring strong customer retention and satisfaction. Build and maintain relationships with clients, industry leaders, and internal teams. Deliver engaging corporate-level presentations that highlight our expertise. Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to client visits, negotiations, and deal closures. Work closely with Sales, Production, and Quality teams to align solutions with customer needs. Provide regular reports on performance, market trends, and competitor activity to the Managing Director. Ensure ongoing post-sales engagement through follow-ups and on-site client visits. What We’re Looking For Proven success in B2B sales, business development, or account management within manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering. Industry experience in metals, pressings, or fabrication is a strong advantage. Ability to interpret and communicate engineering drawings effectively. Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Technical understanding and problem-solving abilities.
