Davies are looking to recruit exceptional Claims Handlers to join our growing Claims team in our Preston office. This role will place you at the heart of our customer journey and you will be the first point of contact in moments that matter to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Interacting with a variety of people including customers, insurers, suppliers and colleagues around the country
2. Ensuring the correct information gets to the right people, you’ll be confident in your written and verbal correspondence and checking policy cover
3. Reviewing and setting up new claims, appointing contractors and updating claims on internal systems
4. Prioritising and reviewing diaries in a timely manner.
5. Issuing payments to policyholders and suppliers for settlements
6. Contributing to team, division and wider business growth and development
7. Your day to day role will involve communicating with customers via various methods, Inbound and outbound calls, Emails, SMS and also via our automated claims journey
8. Always making sure that we communicate with customers via their preferred method to ensure their claims is handled proactively and quickly.
