What You Can Expect: Directors at Protiviti are responsible for client satisfaction and as leaders on engagements ensure that each engagement project is performed to our standards of quality and meet the needs of the client. Associate Directors and Directors, working with the Managing Directors, ensure that each client project closes with the client satisfied with our service and the quality of our work. Key to the Director role is the focus on developing business opportunities in the marketplace and being valuable leaders within Protiviti and the business community. Key Responsibilities Participates in engagement sales opportunities with existing and new clients Manages broad range of routine responsibilities on multiple client engagements related to client project management, and business development activities Effectively manages client relationships with senior personnel Contributes to employee development by actively mentoring employees, creating development opportunities, and initiating and conducting training Demonstrates the ability to discuss technical and industry trends in specific products/ industries Demonstrates ability to deliver specific product solutions to clients Demonstrates expertise in specific technical areas and/or industries Assists Engagement Management Director in managing engagement risk Participates in recruiting efforts to support Protiviti business objectives Enhances Protiviti’s market presence and exposure in order to develop opportunities with new clients. Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment Ability to travel as necessary to meet client needs Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Demonstrated excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills Must have ability to multi-task Excellent project management skills Excellent client relationship skills Proven Business Development skills Excellent time management skills Demonstrated mentoring and people development skills Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner Must be able to maintain professional demeanour in times of high stress Your Educational and Professional Qualifications: Specialised industry skills Solid knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting Solid understanding of current accounting (GAAP) and auditing (GAAS) principles Solid understanding of internal control concepts (COSO, COBIT) Solid knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications Your Educational and Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline Experience in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry Professional certification such as ACA/ICAS/CIMA strongly preferred Our Workplace and Employment Process Protiviti practices a hybrid wording model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon the needs of our client. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.
